SHOPPING... what better thing to do in the rain?

Get ready to rock ... we think you might need two stores again this week, but really - you're saving so much money by using a discount store like Aldi, it's OK to grab the items on the list from somewhere else... but just don't buy a milllion extras, or the mission is blown (but, if you wanna buy 2 or 3 cans of cannelini beans or the diced chilis, it's probably a safe bet that both of these items will be back in the shopping list in the next 2-3 weeks!).

So, let's rock...

$57.02 seriously!!  Aldi rocks!  (and Jewel had some good sales too, corned beef for $1.68 per pound - and thanks for putting my cannelini beans on sale at $.63 per can - we got three cans!)

  1. OK, looking over the grocerylist, there is a decent amount of items I have to purchase, but eyeballing the list, we will be under $70.00, I am certain of that. Just back from back to back Basketball games(we won both, and are officially undefeated going into the finals) and getting ready to head to Aldi. Day ligt savings day Yea!!! We lost an hour, but gained so, so much more. We survived another Chicago winter!
